Participare românească la Târgul internaţional de arte şi meşteşuguri de la Ierusalim, ediţia 2009, cu tema „A fost odată ca niciodată...”


Institutul Cultural Român din Tel Aviv vă invită, în perioada 3 – 15 august 2009, la a 34-a ediţie a Târgului internaţional de arte şi meşteşuguri de la Ierusalim. Sub titlul מרומניה סיפורים עממים ... היה היה פעם/ “Once Upon A time: A Romanian Imaginary”/ „A fost odată ca niciodată...”, artistele Ema Hagiu şi Monika Pădureţ, membre ale Uniunii Artiştilor Plastici Profesionişti din România, cunoscute pentru lucrările inspirate din poveşti, legende şi basme româneşti, vor prezenta lucrări unicat sau serii mici.

Monika Pădureţ va expune ceramică: obiecte decorative şi de podoabă, realizate în tehnici tradiţionale, din argilă cu glazuri şi angobe.

Ema Hagiu va prezenta pictură pe sticlă, realizată într-o tehnică proprie, cu vopsele speciale în straturi, cu intervenţii cu acul (gravare) şi accente de schlachmetal, încadrate cu lemn pictat.

Cele două artiste vor oferi demonstraţii de lucru şi workshop-uri ad-hoc pentru publicul prezent la târg.

Târgul Internaţional de Arte şi Meşteşuguri de la Ierusalim este cel mai mare târg de profil din Israel, reunind la fiecare ediţie peste 150 de artişti din Israel şi 30-40 de standuri naţionale, prezentând obiecte decorative realizate în tehnici din cele mai diverse, de la tehnicile tradiţionale până la tehnologii contemporane de manufacturare, serii mici sau unicate. De asemenea, au loc demonstraţii de lucru, workshop-uri, spectacole de teatru, muzică, dans şi un târg internaţional culinar.

Locaţie: Ierusalim, o zonă de 5.000 m2 lângă oraşul vechi, în zona turistică: Mitchell Garden, Amfiteatrul „Merrill Hassenfeld” din „Sultan´s Pool”, Centrul de arte şi meşteşuguri „Khutsot Hayotser”.


Programul de vizitare a târgului este cuprins între orele 18:00 – 23:00 de duminică până joi şi între orele 20:00 – 24:00 sâmbăta.

The Human Factor




unul dintre preferatii mei, il admir maxim...de cand mi-l tot imaginam in rolul lui mandela dar nu se gasisera inca cei interesati sa-i propuna un asemena caracter...abia astept sa vad filmul

Unul dintre veteranii Hollywood-ului, actorul Morgan Freeman va intra in pielea fostului presedinte sud-african, Nelson Mandela, intr-un film despre Cupa Mondiala la Rugby din 1995, inspirat de cartea lui John Carlin, "Nelson Mandela + The Game That Made a Nation."

Freeman a dezvaluit recent ca inca lucreaza la personajul lui Mandela pentru ca incearca sa stapaneasca timbrul vocal si accentul greoi al fostului lider african. "Trebuie sa-i redau vocea si felul sau de a vorbi fara sa ma fac de ras", a spus actorul in varsta de 71 de ani.

Filmarile pentru The Human Factor vor demara la inceputul anului viitor in Africa de Sud. Regia este semnata de un alt veteran, Clint Eastwood, iar pe afisul productiei figureaza si Matt Damon.

expozitie la noi in krayot

Deschiderea festiva a expoziţiei celor douăzeci şi sapte de artişti plastici israelieni, originari din România va avea loc sâmbătă, 3 mai 2008, la orele 18.30, la Auditorium "Eshkol Pais" din Kiryat Haim.
Expoziţia se va bucura de participanţi onorabili din conducerea organizaţiei A.M.I.R. şi va fi urmată de un bogat program artistic. Vor fi acordate cu acest prilej diplome de excelenţă câtorva personalităţi ajunse la vârsta senectuţii, care au strâns în decenii de slujire a artelor plastice un bogat şi nepreţuit bagaj.

Roma e i Barbari. La nascita di un nuovo mondo

Nell'immaginario occidentale - greco-romano e giudaico-cristiano - le invasioni barbariche evocano scene di una furia travolgente che rompe gli argini dilagando stupefatta su terre che non conosce. Nutrita della tradizione storica - in debito con gli scrittori latini che rappresentavano l'impero romano come un'isola di civiltà in mezzo a un mare di barbarie - e iconografica - che dipingeva i barbari come esseri primitivi, irsuti e vestiti di pelli - e, in Italia, del seducente splendore della grandezza romana, si è affermata un'idea di barbarie del tutto negativa, senza un'arte, una cultura, una lingua. Ovviamente la storia è più complessa.
L'espansionismo dell'Impero Romano non fu esattamente pacifico e quando i soldati quiriti incontravano ostacoli sulla loro strada non andavano tanto per il sottile. Del resto anche gli "ostacoli" non erano proprio arrendevoli. Quindi i conflitti tra romani e barbari ci furono, e cruenti. Con questa precisazione: nei primi due secoli dell'Impero vinsero i romani, cui i barbari si sottomisero più o meno spontaneamente, mentre a partire dal III secolo furono i barbari a prendere il sopravvento.
C'è da dire però - ed era questo il bello del pragmatismo romano - che tra un conflitto e l'altro barbari e romani si confrontavano quotidianamente, commerciando e intrecciando alleanze, insomma avviando un movimentato processo di acculturazione. I barbari, infatti, sia da conquistati che da conquistatori ambirono a civilizzarsi e a romanizzarsi. Così, aiutati dal cemento della Chiesa cattolica, romani e barbari, nonostante lotte e rivalità, finirono con l'integrarsi e da questa integrazione nacque l'Europa moderna.
Questa epopea è al centro della magnifica mostra archeologica allestita nel veneziano Palazzo Grassi. Il rapporto, complesso e contraddittorio, tra Roma e i popoli calati dall'estremo Nord dell'Europa e dalle steppe eurasiatiche (erano loro i barbari) viene illustrato con dovizia di particolari e dimostra che: i barbari non erano poi così barbari; con Roma non ci fu solo scontro ma anche fascinazione e ibridazione; il loro avvento, nei primi secoli della nostra era, non segnò l'eclissi della civiltà ma la nascita di un nuovo mondo, il nostro.
La rassegna è immensa: sono mille gli anni di storia raccontata - la cronologia parte dalla sottomissione della Gallia da parte di Cesare tra il 58 e il 51 a.C. e si conclude nel 962 con l'incoronazione di Ottone I che sancisce la nascita del Sacro Romano Impero Germanico - e oltre 1700 i pezzi riuniti, tra cui tesori nazionali esposti per la prima volta, provenienti da 200 musei di 24 paesi. E ci vuole forse la pozione magica di Panoramix per non smarrirsi tra i sarcofagi colossali, i busti in oro massiccio, i sontuosi corredi funebri, le panoplie complete, i tesoretti e le monete, le corone e i reliquiari, le statue bronzee e marmoree e i dipinti disseminati nelle 31 sezioni della rassegna veneziana.

PIESELE ROMÅNEŞTI. Mare parte dintre cele 71 de piese prezentate de Muzeul Naţional de Istorie (director general: dr. Crişan Muşeţeanu) pot fi admirate şi la Bucureşti, în expoziţia “Tezaur istoric”. Descoperite în Dobrogea (Schytia Minor), pe atunci provincie a Imperiului Roman, piesele de la Hârşova sunt ilustrative pentru cultura materialã a elitei Imperiului din prima jumãtate a secolului al IV-lea. “Pe de altă parte, aflăm de la dna dr. Monica Joiţa, director al Institutului Român de Cultură şi Cercetare Umanistică «Nicolae Iorga», de la Veneţia, informaţiile relativ reduse pe care le avem despre contextul în care au fost descoperite mormintele de la Apahida (judeţul Cluj) sunt compensate de expresivitatea artisticã a pieselor recuperate, fiecare dintre acestea oferind indicii atât despre personalitatea indivizilor înmormântaţi la Apahida, cât şi despre comunitatea în care trãiau sau despre spaţiul în care se dezvoltau legãturile şi relaţiile lor. O comunitate definitã prin comportamente şi tradiţii proprii, situate undeva la graniţa dintre spaţiul «civilizat» al Imperiului Roman, în accepţia clasicã a termenului, şi spaţiul «barbar», aflat dincolo de graniţele politice ale Imperiului”.
PALAZZO GRASSI ŞI AVENTURILE LUI. Arhitectura celebrului palat veneţian a fost atribuită lui Giorgio Massari (1687-1766). Înainte de acesta, Massari construise marea biserică a Iezuiţilor, precum şi “Chiesa delle Pieta”, şi lucra în acelaşi timp la Ca’ Rezonicco. Tot lui i se datorează şi ridicarea clădirii care găzduieşte azi Muzeul Academiei.
Familia Grassi, originară din Chioggia, achiziţionase un teren cu o poziţie splendidă, cu posibilitatea de a construi un palat cu faţada spre marele canal. Circumstanţele precise ale construirii acestui minunat “palazzo” sunt puţin cunoscute. Se presupune că debutul construcţiei sale a avut loc nu mai târziu de 1748, la comanda lui Anzolo Grassi. Din păcate, acesta nu a mai apucat să vadă imobilul terminat, fiul său, Paolo, preluând palatul în construcţie şi cheltuielile sale. Abia în 1772, la 6 ani după moartea lui Massari, Palazzo Grassi a fost în sfârşit gata. Este ultimul palat veneţian care îşi leagă numele de Reppublica Serenissima (în mai 1797, Napoleon cucereşte oraşul şi îl obligă pe dogele Ludovico Manin să abdice, dizolvând Consiliul Republicii şi proclamând Guvernul Provizoriu al Municipiului Veneţia).
După rapida stingere a familiei Grassi, palatul cunoaşte o serie de “aventuri”, intrând în patrimoniul unor familii sau instituţii mai mult sau mai puţin norocoase, cunoscând numeroase schimbări de destinaţie.
În 1840, pe timpul în care Veneţia era supusă Austriei imperiale, fraţii Angelo şi Domenico Grassi cedează palatul Societăţii Venete Comerciale, care îl revinde patru ani mai târziu tenorului Antonio Poggi. La scurt timp, acesta îl va ceda la rândul său pictorului maghiar Jozsef August Schöfft. După moartea sa (în 1850), văduva pictorului, Giuseppina Lindlau, îl va transforma în hotel (aşa cum s-a întâmplat cu multe alte palate veneţiene). În 1857 va intra în proprietatea unui finanţist grec, stabililt la Viena, baronul Simeone de Sina, care îi va aduce primele transformări importante în ceea ce priveşte distribuţia sălilor şi arhitectura. O jumătate de secol mai târziu, urmaşii baronului vând, la rândul lor, palatul unui celebru industriaş elveţian, G. Stucky, care după doar doi ani, în 1910, moare asasinat, iar edificiul e preluat de fiul său. Acesta îi aduce multe îmbunătăţiri: introduce electricitate, ascensoare, termoficare etc. În 1943, cumpără Palatul Vittorio Cini, un industriaş veneţian, care se sinucide însă în 1949, după moartea fiului său.
Este preluat de o societate imobiliară, care îi dă pentru prima dată o destinaţie artistică: Centrul Internaţional de Artă a Costumului. În 1983, este achiziţionat de Grupul Fiat, care face o amplă restaurare şi transformă palatul într-un centru de expoziţii internaţionale, de mare succes, despre arta şi istoriei marilor civilizaţii. Remarcăm retrospectiva din 1986, dedicată Futurismului, precum şi cea dedicată artei Maya, din 1998. Ultima expoziţie din “epoca Fiat” a fost cea dedicată lui Dali, în 2005, după care Palatul este cumpărat de François Pinault (80% din acţiuni) şi Casino Municipale di Venezia (societate mixtă, la care este acţionar şi Primăria Veneţiei). O nouă epocă şi noi succese: Picasso – în 2007, “Roma şi barbarii” – în 2008.

Persepolis



Autoritatile libaneze au interzis difuzarea in cinematografe a filmului Persepolis de teama ca ar putea exacerba situatia politica si asa fragila in tara.

Pelicula de animatie a fost apreciata de critici inca de anul trecut, cand a fost prezentata in cadrul festivalului de film de la Cannes, iar in februarie anul acesta, Persepolis a primit si o nominalizare la premiile Oscar. Filmul autobiografic, se bazeaza pe cartea de benzi desenate a regizoarei Marjane Satrapi si este o poveste despre maturizare in Iranul cuprins de revolutia din 1979.

Teheran 1978: Marjane, opt ani, se gandeste la viitor si se viseaza un profet care salveaza lumea. Rasfatata de niste parinti moderni si cultivati, foarte legata de bunica sa, ea urmareste cu bucurie evenimentele ce duc la izbucnirea revolutiei care va duce la caderea Sahului si a regimului sau. O data cu instaurarea Republicii Islamice, vine timpul "comisarilor revolutiei" care dicteaza oamenilor pana si cum sa se imbrace si le impun reguli stricte de comportament. Marjane, care e obligata sa poarte voalul islamic, se viseaza o adevarata revolutionara. Curand razboiul impotriva Irakului aduce bombardamente, lipsuri si disparitia celor apropiati. In interiorul tarii, represiunea devine tot mai severa. In acest context din ce in ce mai dificil, limba ei ascutita si atitudinea sa rebela devin suspecte. Ca s-o protejeze, parintii ei iau hotararea s-o trimita in Austria. La Viena, Marjane traieste, la paisprezece ani, a doua revolutie din viata sa : adolescenta, libertatea, emotiile iubirii, dar si exilul, singuratatea si sentimentul de a fi altfel decat ceilalti.

CVARTETUL ENESCU ÎN ISRAEL




Cvartetul Enescu va susţine în Israel două concerte, care vor avea loc luni, 31 martie 2008, orele 19:30, la Buchmann-Mehta School of Music – Clairmont Auditorium din cadrul Universităţii Tel Aviv, şi miercuri, 2 aprilie 2008, orele 19:00 la Auditorium Hall – Sala Rappaport din Haifa.

Evenimentul este organizat de Institutul Cultural Român din Tel Aviv, în parteneriat cu Buchmann-Mehta School of Music din cadrul Universităţii Tel Aviv, Auditorium Hall Haifa (ETHOS The Haifa Art, Culture and Sport Company Ltd.) şi H.O.R. Haifa.
